גַּ֣ם אָנֹכִ֗י חָלִ֤ילָה לִּי֙ מֵחֲטֹ֣א לַֽיהוָ֔ה מֵחֲדֹ֖ל לְהִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל בַּעַדְכֶ֑ם וְהוֹרֵיתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ הַטּוֹבָ֖ה וְהַיְשָׁרָֽה׃
Aku pun, jauhlah dariku untuk berdosa terhadap Yang Mahakekal dengan berhenti berdoa untuk kalian. Aku akan mengajar kalian jalan yang baik dan lurus.

Rabbah b. Hinnana the Elder also said in the name of Rab : Whoever has it in his power to pray" on behalf of his neighbour and fails to do so is called a sinner ; as it is said, "Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you" (I Sam. xii. 23).
